What is a partnership?
A partnership is a relationship whereby at least two people become committed to reaching a common goal. Their commitment is reinforced by the resources that they willingly put forth towards this goal. A partnership with The Cross is no different. It involves people like you and me recognizing that there is a need, and then committing ourselves to extend our resources together to meet that need.
What kind of resources does The Cross need?
We are greatly in need of financial and prayer support. This ministry presently needs about
$230,000 a year for its operating budget. All proceeds are tax-deductible (we are recognized by the IRS as a 501(C)(3) not-for-profit organization), and all proceeds go directly to this ministry in one of three ways:
- Providing the students with a full-time campus minister
and interns
- Providing the students with materials and various
programs
- Providing the students with a solid administrative
structure.
Our prayer needs are large as well. We need an active network of prayer partners who will commit their time to interceding for the needs of this ministry. We believe that prayer is central to eliminating obstacles and to seeing lives transformed.
Occasionally, we also need the time and talents of our supporters. In these cases, we will send out a special invitation for assistance.
